We startd in 30 second intervals today so it was definitely a race against the clock. This is, by far, the strangest/coolest thing I've ever seen. This guy ran both of his loops on a unicycle. This is him finishing. My hat's off.
Hi there! I found your blog by accident, from Ghisallo. Small world: My mom lives in Durango, so you blog title peaked my interest and I started to delve further. I love Colorado in general and Durango specifically for all the great things you can do in a weekend. My mom and her paramour have a Vanagon! They likely bought it from somewhere around where you live. Upon further reading, I discover that I likely worked with your wife @ DFS or in some related capacity. She looks very familiar. Another note (not as significant): I ready your post about mountain lions in the area and it reminded me that my mom hit a mountain lion while headed up Hesperas in Durango late one night. It didn't make it, but died from internal injuries, which make for a great specimen for the local wildlife museum! She got some interesting pictures before they took it away and only had about $1500 damage to the car.
